dc.description.abstractArtificial lift is used to increase the production of non or insufficiently eruptive wells. Among the Artificiel lift methods there is the activation of the wells by gas lift and by the electric submersible pump (ESP). The activation of the wells by gas-lift is the most used method in Algeria compared to ESP that's under trial and development in some regions, TFT field is the most expert in use of these two methods: the gas-lift and even ESP. In our study we realize the design of each method by a software (PIPESIM) and after the technical and economic study of each method we give recommendations for the best choice and the use of the methods.en_US
