dc.description.abstractWith the rapid population growth, pollution and waste, water is already missing in some parts of the planet. It is therefore necessary to consider the desalination of brackish water, and / or seawater, to supply drinking water for humanity. Solar distillation is one of the processes that will supply particularly villages and small towns with limited consumption. The yield of this process is nevertheless very limited. Also in the context of our work, we plan to improve the latter by coupling a distiller with a flat solar collector. The results obtained show, without any ambiguity, an increase in the operating characteristics (production, overall and internal efficiencies) of the coupled system. It also appears and as presented in the framework of this work, numerous parameters, in particular the global irradiation, the ambient temperature and the temperature of the water, strongly influence these characteristics of operationen_US
