Abstract: This main objective of this study is to identify the contribution of organizational socialization in predicting job performance on a sample of 261 new nurses working in public health institutions in Oran. We used two questionnaires: the first one measuring the three dimensions of organizational socialization (Haueter and al, 2003) and the second of Schwirian P. (1978) tested the six dimensions of performance of nurses. The questionnaires were translated from English into Arabic and also were confirmed their reliability and validity.
