Abstract: The current study aimed at detecting learned helplessness by students in the third year of secondary school. The study was applied to 100 repeated students. In this study, we used the descriptive exploratory method.in order to collect data, learned helplessness scale was used; The study found that there was a high level of learned helplessness among students who were enrolled in the third year of secondary school. The level of learned helplessness among females was higher than that of males, whereas the level of learned helplessness among students in The literary specialization was higher than that of students in the scientific specialization helplessness.
