dc.description.abstractSports practice is an integral part of public education, it is one of the most important aspects of mental health and prevention of various diseases and even treatment for many mental and psychological illnesses, where this study came with the aim of knowing the impact of sports practice on level of general psychological adaptation at secondary students, and therefore determine the relationship between regular practice of sport and general psychological adaptation of secondary stage students, the researcher used the descriptive method depending on test of general psychological adaptation of Dr. Ijlal Mohammed Sri, the sample included 60 students from the secondary schools of Amir Abdul Qadir and Mouloud Qassim Nait Belkacem that situated in Dahmouni, Tiaret, we chose 40 students in a random way they exercise irregularly, and 20 students in a deliberate way because they are athletes with distinction who exercise regularly, after collecting and analyzing data the researcher found- Students who practice sport regularly have a high level of general psychological adaptation compared to irregular practitioners, this reflects the positive relationship between regular practice of sport and general psychological adaptation.en_US
