dc.description.abstractThe current study’s aim is to determine the level of cognitive competencies of primary school teachers in physical and sports education, and their attitudes towards teaching PE, it aims also to tind out if there is a relation between those cognitive competencies and their attitudes towards teaching PE. This case study’s sample is made of 60 primary teachers picked randomly by the researchers who used ( cognitive competency questionnaire, and the scale of attitudes towards teaching) as tools to collect data they also used many calculating methods ( Pearson correlation coefficient , compare means « one simple T-Test » the mean , Std deviation , Alpha) The Results showed that teachers own a large amount of cognitive competencies in PE, as well as having positive attitudes towards teaching it. The researchers have concluded by the end of this study that there is no relation between those competencies and the attitudes of teachers towards teaching PE.en_US
