Abstract: Most of Western and European modern sciences manifest explicit implications in the Arab heritage, namely learning theories. This includes Watson's behaviourism, Chomskey's cognitivism, and Piaget's structuralism. All these theories have traces in Ibn Khaldoun's Moukadima. This study tries to highlight the similarities and differences between the above-mentioned theories and those developed by Ibn Khaldoun.
