Abstract: Our study focused on the effect of the internal and external parameters of the flat solar collector. This study has made it possible to highlight the various characteristics of the components of the solar collector studied and external parameters having an influence on the operation of the sensor. To know ; the characteristics of the absorber, the insulation, the heat transfer fluid, the dimensions of the sensor and the external conditions; solar irradiation, ambient temperature, wind speed etc. the study of the effect of these different internal and external parameters through the use of the metronorm program and Trnsys led to determine the favorable conditions for better performance of the solar collector studied. Our results were validated through the exit temperature of the fluid and the solar irradiation by experimental results of these same parameters and for the same studied sensor
