Abstract: The region of Rhourde Nouss is located in the wilaya of ILLIZI 280 km south-east of Hassi Messaoud, and about 1000 km from Algiers. In this region, many accumulations of hydrocarbons have been recognized. The objective of our study is based on petrophysical characterization of Ordovician reservoir, for this purpose we have targeted four wells are drilled in the framework of development of Rhourde Nouss region (Hr-101, Hr-102, HAZ- 103 and HAZ-104), and obtain logging logs (GR-DSL,Resistivity-Sonic, Density-Neutron) which allows to build the logs through Schlumberger's "Techlog" software. The log data allowed us to evaluate the petrophysical parameters of the reservoir such as porosity, permeability and saturation, in order to arrive at a better recognition of our reservoir. Since our study revealed that: the wadi saret sandstone unit has good petrophysical parameters compared to the other units that have homogeneous results, therefore this unit is the most promising.
