Abstract

Water is a natural resource that is in great demand and necessary for all socio-economic activities. Domestic and industrial wastewater can contain many pollutants and pathogenic micro-organisms. In order to reduce water pollution and protect the environment, wastewater treatment plants are set up at the industrial sites. The efficiency of a treatment plant is typically measured by the quality of its discharges. The objective of this study is to evaluate the purification performance of the wastewater treatment plant in the Haoud Berkaoui region.
