Abstract: The Rhourde Chegga field is considered by its demontions and its reservoir, as one of the largest in the world These sandstone reservoirs are characterized by a heterogeneity that results in extreme variations in the petro-physical properties causing the variation of production from one zone to another and from one well to another. In recent years, extensive development programs have been designed to extract even more oil from these programs: - Hydraulic fracturing. - The recovery in short radius. This study demonstrates the feasibility of these techniques on the well of Rds 19 and revolves around: - Choosing a well with a low productivity index. - Know the results of the hydraulic cracking process on this well. - Its validity for recommending the recovery process in a short radius.
