Les représentations sociolinguistiques de la langue française chez les étudiants du département de français (Le cas de 3e année de l’Université d’El-Oued)

Abstract

S'inscrivant dans le domaine de la sociolinguistique, et partant d’une analyse de terrain dans un contexte universitaire algérien à savoir le Souf, la présente thèse s'intéresse aux représentations et pratiques langagières d'étudiants en licence de français. Cette recherche vise à cerner les représentations sociolinguistiques relatives à la langue française chez les étudiants du département de français de l'Université d'El-Oued, connaître les facteurs qui contribuent à leur construction, , décrire les pratiques langagières des enquêtés, étudier l'impact des représentations sur ces pratiques et déterminer la position du français dans l’environnement de l’étudiant. Exploratoire et descriptive multidimensionnelle, notre étude emprunte une démarche à la fois quantitative et qualitative adoptant le questionnaire, le test de mots associés et l'entretien comme outils de recueil de données. L'analyse des données recueillies nous a permis d'obtenir les résultats suivants: les représentations du français des étudiants enquêtés sont dans leur majorité positive, les étudiants aiment la langue française et voient que son apprentissage est utile. Mais, leurs pratiques langagières ne reflètent pas vraiment ces résultats et leurs attitudes génèrent des comportements différents en fonctions des situations.

Subscribing in the field of sociolinguistics, and starting from concrete analysis within the context of university Algerian students, notably Oued Souf, the present thesis is deeply interested in the practical and language representations of the Licence de français students. This research aims at discerning the sociolinguistics representations relative to the French language for the students of the French department at the university of El-Oued, taking into account the factors that contribute to their construction, describing the language practices of the informants, studying the impact of these representations on these practices. Exploratory, descriptive and multi-dimensial, our study adopting the questionnaire, the test related to the associates words and the survey as a tool of the gathering data. The analysis of the gathered data allowed us to obtain the following results: The representations of the French language of the informants are in their majority positive. The students like the French language and think that its learning is useful. But, their language practices don't reflect the results and their attitudes generate different behaviours in accordance with their situations.

في مجال علم اللغة الاجتماعي و التحليل الميداني في سياق الجامعة الجزائرية بمنطقة سوف تحديدا تركز الرسالة الحالية على تصورات اللغة و ممارسات الطلاب أللذين يدرسون اللغة الفرنسية. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد التصور اللغوي الاجتماعي للغة الفرنسية عند طلاب قسم اللغة الفرنسية بجامعة الوادي و ذلك من اجل معرفة العوامل المساهمة في بنائها ووصف الممارسات اللغوية للمجيبين و دراسة تأثير التمثيل على هذه الممارسات و تحديد وضعية اللغة الفرنسية في بيئة الطالب. استكشافية وصفية و متعددة الأبعاد¸ تعتمد دراستنا على الاستبيان¸ اختيار الكلمات المرتبطة و المقابلة كأدوات لجمع البيانات. لقد أفادنا تحليل البيانات التي تم جمعها الحصول إلى النتائج التالية: إن تصورات اللغة الفرنسية عند الطلاب المستجوبين في غالبيتها ايجابية. يرى الطلاب أن تعلم اللغة الفرنسية مفيد و ذو أهمية بالغة لكن ممارساتهم اللغوية لا تعكس هذه النتائج و سلوكياتهم تولد تصرفات مختلفة و متباينة على حسب الحالة أو الوضعية.
