The impactof translator's ideology on shaping the international political ties Case study:Terms related to the Palestinian Cause.

Abstract

This study aims at exploring and investigating the impact of translator's ideology on shaping the international political ties, by analyzing the English translation of terms related to the Palestinian Cause; in order to identify the adoptedstrategies. Also, it tried to examine why these terms are not translated successfully into English?For achieving the purpose of this study, twenty two (22) patterns related to Palestinian Cause were chosen from different websites, and their English translations were collected from different news agencies, channels, and newspapers.The results of the study showed that deletion, omission, addition, and substitution strategies have been adopted to render terms related to the Palestinian Cause.Also, the findings showed that terms related to Palestinian Cause were not translated successfully into English and their meanings have changed to fit translator's cultural and political affiliations, and that the translators have manipulated the source text intentionally to serve their countries interests.

L'objectif de cette étude a pour de présenter l'effet de l'idéologie du traducteur sur la formation de relations politiques internationales. termes parmi les termes de la cause Palestinienne, été traduits par afin de connaitre les stratégies employées en la traduction de ces termes-là, ainsi qu'on a mis l'accent sur la fidélité de cette traduction par rapport au texte source ou bien les traducteurs ont trahi exprès le texte source en changeant le contenu de ces termes par un autre qui va avec leur pensée et leur idéologie et leur tendance politique et culturelle. Les résultats de cette étude ont montré qu'on a manipulé les termes de la cause Palestinienne où ils ne sont pas traduits fidèlement Parce qu'ils sont incompatibles avec leur culture et leurs intérêts politiques et culturels exprès à travers la stratégie d'ellipse, ajouté, et de changement ce qui a abouti à tomber dans la faute de la traduction volontairement Par la manipulation idéologique des interprètes en traduisant, et tout cela avait un impact négatif sur la cause.

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى عرض اثر إيديولوجية المترجم على تشكيل العلاقات السياسية الدولية ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم انتقاء 22 مصطلح خاص بالقضية الفلسطينية لمعرفة الاستراتيجيات التي تم استخدامها في ترجمة هذه المصطلحات, كما تم التركيز على ما إذا كانت هذه الأخيرة قد ترجمت كما وردت في النص الأصلي أم تعمد المترجمون استبدال مضمونها بمفاهيم أخرى تتناسب مع فكرهم الإيديولوجي وميولا تهم السياسية والثقافية. وقد أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة انه تم التلاعب عن قصد بترجمة مصطلحات القضية الفلسطينية حيث لم تترجم كما وردت في النص الأصلي لأنها تتعارض مع ثقافتهم وميولا تهم السياسية والثقافية معتمدين في ذلك على استراتيجيات مثل الحذف والاستبدال والإضافة مما أدى إلى الوقوع في الخطأ في الترجمة عن قصد عن طريق التلاعب الإيديولوجي للمترجمين والتي كان لها اثر سلبي على القضية الفلسطينية وهو تشويه صورتها في نظر العالم.
