Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the acquisition's level of basic science processes skills among the children of the preparatory class. The study was conducted on a sample of 52 students in the preparatory class, using the basic science skills scale prepared by the researcher and following the descriptive method and using the arithmetic mean, standard deviation , Duplicates, percentages were reached: There is a low level of growth in the basic science processes skills among children in the preparatory class. The percentage of non-acquisition of basic science processes skills in the whole test was 71.15% of the students in the preparatory class. The percentage of non-acquisition of partial skills was as follows: observation (82.69%), measurement (76.92%), use of time and place relationships (75% Use of numbers (73.08%), classification (69.23%), prediction (67.31%), communication (65.38%), deduction (63.46%)
