Abstract: This study aimed at trying to study the relationship between leadership styles among managers and the motivation to teach physical and sports education from the viewpoint of professors and in addition to trying to study the personality of the director through the disclosure of the leadership style that he adopts to raise the level of teacher motivation to teach and we used in this study the descriptive approach For its relevance to the nature of the study, and a sample of 59 professors distributed among some high schools of the State of Laghouat, a sample of the scale of leadership and motivational methods toward teaching physical and mathematical education has been distributed to professors. The results of this study concluded that the democratic method is the predominant method among principals, and the teacher of physical and sports education at the secondary stage is characterized by a high level of motivation towards teaching, as well as a statistically significant relationship between the methods of leadership of managers and the motivation to teach at the teachers of physical and sports education
