dc.description.abstractThe present study aimed at identifying the positive and negative thinking students at the sociology department/Abou Bakr Belkaid university (Tlemcen) . It also sought to test the effect of some variable as gender and family socio-economic level . The field study was conducted on a sample of 100 students at the University of Tlemcen who were subjected to the types of thinking scale of Abdul Aziz Hanan (2012) The result of the study indicated that -the students thinking style was positive ,and -there was no significant differences between males and females in the thinking style. -there was no significant differences in thinking style due to the socio-economic level in favor of the higher levelen_US
