Abstract: Translation offers opportunities to people from all over the world to acquire knowledge and to exchange experiences. The focus of translation was excessively paying attention to literature. Therefore, a recent concern of scholars is on the translator. Questions often associated to ideology and orientation such as the translators’ religion, their position in the inherent subjectivity and bias of ideological stances has been placed in the centre of the research concerns. This paper seeks to check how translation quality is affected, it seeks also to investigate whether the translator’s background, culture and religion, have an appearing impact on quality of translation particularly in children’s literature.
