Abstract: The factors underlying the theory of meaning in dealing with different texts tend to pretend to pretend the content of the form by the translator's understanding of the meaning of the text and trying not to prove the linguistic form whenever this form hinders the expression of that meaning naturally in the language of translation, as well as through theoretical studies of scholars who tried to apply that theory on similarities between texts namely in content since the affective dimension is implicit. This article tries to check the importance of affective dimension in reading the novel; it is based on the interplay between the Arabic and French languages.
