UNE ANALYSE SEMIOTIQUE DES LOGOS des établissements universitaires algériens

Abstract

La présente étude aborde le processus de signification à travers les logos. Son objet est les logos représentant les établissements algériens de l’enseignement supérieur. La question capitale porte sur la composante du logo en termes de signifiants et sur les références mis en évidence. Les éléments partitifs en signe entretiennent un rapport associatif et participent communément à la construction de la signification. Ils relèvent généralement d’ordre culturel, historique, linguistique, ethnique, mémoriel, local, potentiel, etc. Il s’agit alors d’une analyse sémiotique pour tenter d’expliquer le fonctionnement de ce type de signe qui tient de la graphie, du dessin, de la couleur, de la forme et de l’objet ancré une forme pour servir d’une identification et communication visuelle.

This study deals with the process of meaning through logos. Its purpose is the logos representing Algerian higher education establishments. The crucial question concerns the component of the logo in terms of signifiers and the highlighted references. Partitive elements in a sign maintain an associative relationship and commonly participate in the construction of meaning. They are generally cultural, historical, linguistic, ethnic, memorial, local, potential, etc. It is then a semiotic analysis to try to explain the functioning of this type of sign which takes from the writing, the drawing, the color, the form and the object anchored a form to serve as a visual identification and communication.
