Abstract. The current study aimed to reveal the relationship between fear of Corona pandemic (Covid-19) and death anxiety among a sample of nurses in the public health sector. It also tried to identify the effect of gender and age on the study variables. A purposive sample of 102 male and female nurses was selected who answered the two scales, fear of the Corona pandemic (Amer, 2020) and death anxiety (Abdelkhalek, 1996). The study found that there was no statistically significant relationship between fear of Corona and anxiety of death among nurses. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in fear of Corona due to gender, age, or interaction between them. While the study resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences in death anxiety due to gender only, without the effect of age or the interaction between them on the same variable. | en_US |
