Digital Services for Arab Libraries in the Light of the COVID-19 Pandemic Central Library at the University of Algiers 2 a model

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى استفادة المكتبات من التطور التكنولوجي في ظل تفشي وباء كوفيد19 لتوفير مصادر المعلومات للباحثين والطلبة بالإجابة عن التساؤل التالي: كيف وظفت المكتبات الجامعية الجزائرية التطور التكنولوجي والخدمات الرقمية لمساعدة الطلبة والباحثين؟ حيث قمنا من خلال هذا العمل بعرض وتحليل الخدمات الرقمية التي تقدمها المكتبة المركزية بجامعة الجزائر2 من خلال صفحتها على الانترنت لدعم العملية التعليمية ومساعدة الطلبة والباحثين في انجاز بحوثهم في ظل التدابير التي أدت إلى غلق المكتبة وعدم الاستفادة من خدماتها حضوريا، وقد بينت النتائج بأن المكتبات الرقمية تحتاج إلى مزيد من التحسين والتطور لتلبية احتياجات المستخدمين، كما تأكدت أهمتها في ظل الظروف الراهنة التي كان فيها وباء كوفيد19 سببا في إغلاق المكتبات، حيث أصبحت السبيل الآمن لاستمرار الخدمات المكتبية. Through this work, we presented and analyzed the digital services provided by the Central Library at the University of Algiers2 through its website to assist students and researchers in carrying out their research in light of the measures that led to the closure of the library and not benefiting from its services in attendance, and the results indicated that digital libraries It needs further improvement and development to meet the needs of users, and its importance has been confirmed in the current circumstances in which the Covid 19 epidemic caused the closure of libraries, as it became the safe way for the continuation of office services.
