dc.description.abstractThe current study aimed at mental training and its relationship to developing self-confidence in accordance with psychological trends in the field of sports training, as well as revealing whether there is a positive effect of mental training on developing self-confidence among football players less than 20 years old, and the study relied on the experimental approach The study sample consisted of twelve (12) players, divided into two groups, one experimental and another control group, both of them made up of six (6) players. The study was conducted from December 16, 2018 to February 17, 2019 to conduct field research. A club in a ball sport was chosen. The foot from the state of Relizane, which is: Rapid Club Relizane We have used the statistical software package (Excel 2013) and this is to calculate each of: - arithmetic means and standard deviation. Correlation coefficient to measure the stability of the study tools. Student's T test. The two researchers reached the following results: There is a convergence between the control and experimental samples in self-confidence in the pre-tests, as well as stability and stability in the level of self-confidence in our research with the control sample during the post-tests and did not achieve improvement during this period, and from it we concluded that mental training had a positive effect on Developing the players' self-confidence, as it was found that there is a development for the experimental sample compared to the control sampleen_US
