Abstract: This article provides a descriptive and analytical reading of the French interests in post-Gaddafi Libya, as it aims to focus on their motives, which are mainly the variable economy, security and influence, as well as to address the trends in the development of French interests in Libya, and to analyze the various challenges that stand in the way of restoring stability ,Our research was engineered by relying on a descriptive, historical, and systematic approach, which enabled us to reach several conclusions related to identifying the motives and trends of the French interests in Libya, in ensuring oil and gas supplies, and the endeavor to ensure security threats emanating from Libya, as well as trying to establish a balance regional, to the analysis of the various challenges facing the restoration of stability.
