Abstract: The study aimed to identify the reality of the educational competencies necessary for kindergarten teachers in Algeria, from their point of view. To achieve this goal a questionnaire is applied on a sample of 25 teachers representing the whole study community. The study concluded with a number of results, the most important of which are: the teachers of Al-Rashad Kindergarten, Ain Arnat Branch, possess the competencies of planning and execution to a large extent, and they need to improve the competencies of the evaluation, because they came to a medium degree.
