Abstract: Drilling optimization is a process that consists on reducing the Non-productive time (NPT) and enhances the drilling performance. This is achieved by performing pre-well analysis, quick troubleshooting reaction while drilling on rig site and most importantly extracts lessons learned and standardizes it for future wells. This process was experienced in the field exactly in the 12 ¼ section of MD #775 well in Hassi Messaoud where different issues and hazards were experienced, the root causes were identified and the mitigation process was observed on the field which help build a valuable knowledge and experience on the drilling optimization process that can be used in the autonomous miniature drilling rig
