Abstract: Coiled tubing are used in different jobs in the oil industry, and they should be used until the achieve maximum production, and each type of coiled tubing have a life span, and it’s determined by different factors that can be summarized in one formula, the fatigue damage formula we use is from Halliburton, Fatigue damage of coiled tubing is a serious concern because the excessive stress on the coiled tubing can lead to mechanical shear and to avoid a loss of time and money we use a simulation program that calculate the fatigue damage to predict when it will happen and prevent it and extend the life of the coiled tubing and make use of them to the maximum.
