Abstract: This paper seeks to highlight the relationship between identity and citizenship and the reflection of this relationship on the process of social integration, as there is a correlation between that geographical affiliation (citizenship) and cultural affiliation (national identity). In fact This Compatibility is based on the nature of the social allegiance that the individual feels towards his country and in which he interacts in social life regardless of his sub-affiliations such as ethnic, religious and ethnic affiliations. This ensures the integration of the minorities after feeling confident and secure and convinced that their partial affiliations are not threatened And that its specificities are respected within that geographical affiliation which indicates the homeland and citizenship. In order to avoid the crisis of citizenship resulting from the alienation of the state from society, attention must be paid to raising the values of citizenship and strengthening loyalty to the state, while respecting the sub-identities of partial affiliations in their diversity.
