The aim of this study is the theoretical evaluation of the possibility of using treated wastewater in agricultural irrigation, as it was based on the analysis of many scientific publications, about 20 articles. We have studied the reuse of sewage water of all kinds treated by various methods (activated sludge, natural lakes, aerated lakes...) including the physical and chemical properties of agricultural soils (pH, EC, SAR, OM) and the evaluation of some minerals (Cd, Ni, Cr, Fe , Zn, Cu, Co, Pb) on soil, leafy and root vegetables, target hazard yield, soil metal transfer coefficient for plants and microbial load. Soil pH values ranged after irrigation with reclaimed water (7.9 -8.4) and soil salinity increased. The treated wastewater also showed an increase in the growth factors of some plants (spike height, plant length, leaf area and number of leaves) compared to fresh water. Finally, we can irrigate with this quality of water with constant monitoring and restrict irrigation for some cropsen_US
