Integrate and manage data using Blockchain in electronic health records

Abstract

Blockchain have been an interesting research area for a long time and the benefits it provides have been used by a number of various industries Similarly, because to security, privacy, secrecy, and decentralization, blockchain technology has a lot of potential in the healthcare sector. Nonetheless, EHR systems have issues with data security, integrity, and administration.We examine how blockchain technology may be utilized to alter EHR systems and could be a solution to these problems in this thesis. We provide a methodology for implementing blockchain technology in the healthcare industry for electronic health records. The goal of our proposed framework is to first integrate blockchain technology for EHR and then to enable safe storage of electronic data for users of the framework by setting granular access controls. This framework provides the EHR system with the advantages of a blockchain-based solution that is scalable, secure, and integrated.
