Abstract: | Adaptation is a process that requires undeniably a cultural transfer that can be more or less significant depending on the degree and level of the adaptation. The adapter wants to adapt but also to possesand appropriate the work, to actualize it through his own cultural view, for instance, we notice this in the contrast present in the manifestation of demonic figures in Shakespeare’s and Aya Kanno’s works since the mangaka adapted a classical play of the Elizabe-than era into a Manga of the contemporary period |
