Abstract: In this study, the Maslach burnout scale deals with the level of burnout among secondary education teachers in Laghouat. We have relied on this scale due to its availability on all dimensions that measure burnout. Our study aimed to identify the prevalence of burnout among secondary education teachers, in addition to identifying its causes. We relied on 20 individuals to verify the validity of this tool by studying the psychometric characteristics of the test, and the main sample included 50 individuals distributed at the secondary level of Laghouat, and we relied on the stratified random sample as a suitable type for the study, in addition to our use of the descriptive analytical approach to the study, As for the results of the study, most of the hypotheses were not fulfilled, so the general hypothesis concluded that there is no high psychological burnout, in addition to the partial hypotheses, such as the absence of differences between the sexes in the level of burnout and also with regard to the workplace, except for the third partial hypothesis that there are differences between teachers due to Years of work for the category of less than 10 years of work.
