IRONY IN GREAT EXPECTATIONS BY CHARLES DICKENS

Abstract

Great Expectaions is the famous novel among Dickens's novels, that tauched people's hearts during Victorian Era, and still has angreat impact on people nowadays. Great Expectations is a novel talked about Pip who wants to be a gentleman.Pip is a young man lives with his sister Mrs Joe and his brother in law Mr Joe the blacksmith. Pip is an orphan youngman, works with Mr Joe in the forge. Pip falls in love with Estella, who is an adopted daughter of Miss Havisham and her real father is the convict Abel Magwitch. Estella doesn't like his way of living so, he decided to return to his first living and live happily. My objective beyond selecting this novel is to show how irony used in.

Les grands espoirs est l'un des fameux romans de Charles Dickens et qui a touchè les coeurs des gens lors de l'èpoque victorienne. De nos jours, son effet est senti chez le lecture. C'est un roman qui tourne autour d'un jeune nommèPiprèvant d'ètre un Seigneur. Pipètait orphelin, vivait avec sa soeur et son mari Jo lr forgeron, travaillant dans un magasin. Pip aimait une fille adoptèe par Mlle Havisham, elle est nommè Estella, c'ètait la fille du fugitif AblMagwitch. Elle n'aimait pas Pip. De plus, elle dètestait les hommes. Cela du aux conseils de Mlle Havisham qui l'a rendu, cruelle. Enfin Pip est devenu un grand seigneur, Or il s'ennyait et il dècida de retourner à la simple vie. et il vit heureux. الامال الكبيرة هي من اشهر روايات شارل ديكنز والتي لمست قلوب الناس اثناء العصر الفيكتوري ومازال تاثيرها في قلوب الناس والقراء الى يومنا هذا. الامال الكبيرة هي رواية تحكي عن شاب اسمه بيب الذي كان يحلم ان يصبح سيدا. بيب هو شاب في مقتبل العمر يتيم الابوين ويعيش مع اخته وزوجها الحداد السيد جو. يعمل بيب مع زوج اخته في المستودع. كان بيب يحب فتاة تدعى استيلا.استيلا هي فتاة متبنية من طرف الانسة هافيشام وهي تعتبر الابنة الوحيدة للهارب ابل ماقويتش. لم تحب استيلا بيب اطلاقا بل كانت تكره كل الرجال عامة وهذا بسبب نصاىح الانسة هافيشام التي جعلت قلبها قاسيا وباردا. وفي الاخير اصبح بيب سيدا لكنه سرعان مااصابه الملل فقرر العودة الى حياته الاولى وعاش سعيدا. ان الهدف من اختياري لهذه الرواية هو توضيح استعمل السخرية في الرواية.
