Culture andCULTURAL CONFLICT IN MISTRESS OF SPICES

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a stylistic analysis of culture and cultural conflict in the novel, “The mistress of Spices” by Chitra Banerjee Devakaroni, and it also shows how these two styles are related to each other. Colonialism as the diaspora is very prominent in postcolonial studies and literature. The study presents a practical analysis of how language, style, characters, land, social status and cultural traditions are presented in the novel to build the identity of people in the novel The Lady of Spices. As cultural branches that gather, the writer combines her novel with rituals, customs and practices related to food, clothing, and her mother tongue. I have studied and studied the literary award-winning novel of Devakaruni, as an example of several global issues that Devakaruni is trying to remove by embodying her fictional character Tilo, Indian spices cultivated with ingenuity and healing power, and the old mother who seems attached to Buddhism. Divakaroni described the lifeless spices as living organisms. The American Indian writer Devakaroni metaphorically embodied this Indian spice with the aim of benefiting from knowledge that transcends the limits of science.

Cette étude vise à analyser une analyse stylistique de la culture et du conflit culturel dans le roman "La maîtresse des épices" de Chitra Banerjee Devakaroni, et montre également comment ces deux styles sont liés l'un à l'autre. Le colonialisme en tant que diaspora occupe une place très importante dans les études et la littérature postcoloniales. L'étude présente une analyse pratique de la façon dont la langue, le style, les personnages, la terre, le statut social et les traditions culturelles sont présentés dans le roman pour construire l'identité des personnes dans le roman La Dame aux épices. Comme des branches culturelles qui se rassemblent, l'écrivain associe son roman à des rituels, des coutumes et des pratiques liées à la nourriture, aux vêtements et à sa langue maternelle. J'ai étudié et étudié le roman littéraire primé de Devakaruni, comme exemple de plusieurs problèmes mondiaux que Devakaruni tente de supprimer en incarnant son personnage fictif Tilo, les épices indiennes cultivées avec ingéniosité et pouvoir de guérison, et la vieille mère qui semble attachée au bouddhisme. Divakaroni a décrit les épices sans vie comme des organismes vivants. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل أسلوﺑﻲ للثقافة و الصراع الثقافي في رواية ، "سيدة البهارات "للكاتبة شيترا بانيرجي ديفاكاروني كما توضح كيف أن هذين اﻷسلوﺑين مرتبطين ببعضهما البعض و في اطار استكشاف المواضيع الرئيسية للرواية ،تستكشف الدراسة أيضا ان مشكلة المهاجرين و المغتربين في ادب ما بعد الاستعمار حيث ان الشتات بارز جدا في دراسات و ادب ما بعد الاستعمار. تقدم الدراسة تحليلا عمليا لكيفية عرض اللغة و الأسلوب و الشخصيات و الأرض و الوضع الاجتماعي و التقاليد الثقافية في الرواية لبناء هوية الأشخاص في رواية سيدة البهارات. و كفروع ثقافية تجمع،تجمع الكاتبة روايتها بطقوس و عادات و ممارسات تتعلق بالطعام،اللباس،و لغتها الام. درست درست رواية ديفاكاروني الحائزة جائزة أدبية،كمثال لعدة قضايا عالمية تحاول ديفاكاروني ازالتها من خلال تجسيد شخصيتها الخيالية تيلو، البهارات الهندية المزروعة بالبراعة و قوة الشفاء، و العجوز الام التي تبدو ملتصقة بالبوذية . وصفت ديفاكاروني التوابل التي لا حياة لها بأنها كائنات حية. ولقد جسدت الكاتبة الهندية الامريكية ديفاكاروني مجازا هذه التوابل الهندية بهدف الاسفادة من المعرفة التي تتجاوز حدود العلم
