Abstract: The public-private partnership is a new approach to cooperation and integration between the public sector and the private sector, which aims mainly to meet the general needs of an economic nature, and it is a new concept in the world, which appeared after the Second World War in Western countries, first of which was England, then it was adopted by many countries. Including the Arab countries. As for Algeria, it is still a new term with a meaning and a vague concept for the Algerian legislator. The latter has not yet defined the criteria necessary to define it as a comprehensive and precluding definition that distinguishes it from other similar concepts, and this despite the fact that The many attempts to adopt it by some officials across the Algerian governments in recent decades, through their statements to the national media about the inevitability and necessity of adopting this approach in the economic system of Algeria, but it has remained, until today, just political statements
