In this paper an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) has been proposed for the filtering of ECG Signals. The method is based on a nonlinear dynamic model, previously introduced for the generation of synthetic ECG signal. The results show that the EKF may be used as a powerful tool for ECG signal denoising; our study was performed on artificial and real ECG signals.en_US
