Abstract: The study aimed to verify the global structure of Raven's standard progressive matrices test over the age group (8-12) years Which measures general intelligence, where the test was applied to a sample of (378) students with (142) male and (236) female, and the analysis method was used. The exploratory factor using the principal components method; the confirmatory factor analysis was also used, using the maximum likelihood method, by implementing the AMOS program. The results of the exploratory factor analysis resulted in the saturation of the five groups being tested on a general factor and an explanation of the variance (51.94%). The results of the confirmatory factor analysis resulted in the goodness of fit the mono factor, excluding the effect of covariance from the residuals of the two groups(AB).
