Abstract

تناول الكاتب أيمن العتوم في رواية "أرض الله" قضية الرق والعبودية في غرب افريقيا خلال القرن الثامن عشر، والتي تعد من القضايا الاجتماعية والإنسانية الهامة،و من أهم الدروس المستخلصة من هذه الرواية ، التي كان يفكر بها ويناضل من أجلها بطل هذه الرواية ، هي دروس الثورات ضد العبودية في ذلك الوقت ويبرز في الرواية قضية الظلم والاستغلال التي تعرض لها الرقيق في تلك الفترة والتي يعتبرها انتهاكا لحقوق الإنسان، حيث تعتبر الحرية والإنسانية أمورا مهمة بالنسبة للكاتب، فكان يصفها بثورات هزيلة غير منظمة ، وسرعان ما تخمد وتتلاشى ، فقد كان يعلل أسباب فشلها بأنه يجب ان تكون هنالك عقيدة تبنى حتى يلتف الناس من حولك ، وهذا النوع من الرؤى يشير إلى وجود إيديولوجيا تتمحور حول حقوق الإنسان والحرية والعدالة الاجتماعية لدى الكاتب.
