Abstract: Algeria has not recognized its strategic position between the countries of African Sahel and the Mediterranean Sea because of the phenomenon of illegal migration. Algeria has considered the gateway and transit center used by criminal networks active in this area to achieve its illegal objectives like( orderNo08/11 and law No09/01).However, in keeping with the requirements of the security policy and the measures taken, Algeria must respect the rights of clandestine migrants, in keeping with the provisions of international and regional human rights laws.
