The Impact of the American Movies on Fashion Choices on the Algerian Youth

Abstract

This research aims to convey the power of U.S.A film industry and their effect on the Algerian Youth at the level of fashion choices. The work also conveys different types of U.S.A movie genres which are considered as a powerful weapon to influence the youth. The paper shows the concept of soft power, which is the way of displaying U.S.A foreign policy, language, culture, life style, through the window of media, and movies rather than the use of military force. Soft tool is considered the most effective way to promote for U.S.A good image and achieving the hidden goals in all over the world.

Cette recherche vise à démontrer l'influence puissante de l'industrie cinématographique américaine sur les choix vestimentaires de la jeunesse algérienne. Elle analyse également comment différents genres de films américains agissent comme un outil puissant pour influencer les jeunes. Le travail s'appuie sur le concept de soft power, qui désigne la capacité des États-Unis à promouvoir sa politique étrangère, sa langue, sa culture et son mode de vie à travers les médias et le cinéma, plutôt que par la force militaire. Le soft power est considéré comme l'outil le plus efficace pour projeter une image positive des États-Unis et atteindre des objectifs stratégiques à travers le monde.

هدف هذا البحث الى إظهار قوة الصناعة السينمائية الأمريكية،وتأثيرها على اختيار المظهر الخارجي للشباب الجزائري. كذلك البحث يتضمن أنواع الأفلام الامريكية،وأمثلة عن كل نوع،والتي تعتبر كوسيلة قوية للتأثير عن الشباب. كما أن البحث يتضمن نظرية القوة الناعمة،والتي تعتبر كطريق للولايات المتحدة لنشر السياسة الخارجية،اللغة،الثقافة و نمط الحياة،من خلال نافذة الاعلام وخصوصا الافلام،بالمقارنة مع القوة العسكرية. يعتبر الاعلام والأفلام افضل وسيلة فعالة لإظهار الولايات المتحدة بصورة أحسن،كما يعتبر افضل وسيلة لتحقيق اهدافها الخفية في جميع أنحاء العالم.
