Abstract

The interplay between technology, media influence, and cultural awareness has become an increasingly intricate phenomenon in the modern era, shaping the boundaries of development and discourse across the globe. This multidisciplinary research delves into the profound impact of these interconnected forces on the complex context of the Gaza Strip, a region grappling with protracted conflict, occupation, and resistance. Employing a qualitative case study approach, this study examines the deployment of autonomous weapon systems and AI-powered robots in urban warfare scenarios, exploring the ethical implications and potential consequences of such technological advancements. It also investigates the linguistic phenomenon of "Israeled" and the framing of events by various media outlets, shedding light on the power of language and media narratives in shaping cultural narratives, influencing public perception, and potentially escalating or resolving conflicts. Through in-depth interviews, comprehensive media analysis, and an extensive literature review, the research unravels the intricate dynamics at play, including the influence of the fourth estate, both traditional and new media platforms, on the trajectories of development and democratic discourse in Gaza. It examines the geographical, constructional, and resistance aspects of Gaza's current conditions, as well as the state of cultural awareness in the region. The findings reveal a complex tapestry of intersecting forces that shape the boundaries of development, discourse, and cross-cultural understanding in Gaza. While these forces possess the capacity to foster positive change and sustainable development, they also carry the potential to exacerbate conflicts and hinder progress if not approached with ethical considerations and a commitment to human rights and cultural sensitivity. This study contributes to a nuanced understanding of the interrelationships between technology, media narratives, and cultural awareness, providing insights into the challenges and opportunities that lie at the nexus of these forces. It underscores the importance of harnessing these forces responsibly, promoting transparency, accountability, and a commitment to human dignity, peace, and mutual understanding in the pursuit of a more just, equitable, and culturally aware world.

L’interaction entre la technologie, l’influence des médias et la conscience culturelle est devenue un phénomène très complexe à l’ère moderne, qui façonne les frontières du développement et du discours à travers le monde. Cette recherche interdisciplinaire explore l'impact profond de ces forces interconnectées sur le contexte complexe de la bande de Gaza, une région aux prises avec un conflit, une occupation et une résistance prolongés.
