Abstract: The Algerian government aims to develop agricultural projects in remote desert lands away from urban areas and electricity networks. In this memo, we met the energy needs of farmer investors by studying how to optimizing the solar/wind hybrid energy system using genetic algorithm (GA) technology, considering economic and environmental factors as well as system reliability to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Matlab software was used to formulate and optimize this problem, and the results showed the effectiveness of the mentioned method when applied to a hybrid system example
