Wellbore cleaning is an essential operation in the oil and gas drilling process, ensuring the removal of drilling fluids, cuttings, and other debris from the wellbore. Improper cleaning can lead to a range of issues that hinder drilling operations, including partial or complete stuck pipe, increased friction, and reduced drilling efficiency. This study aims to investigate the rheological, physical properties, and behavior of drilling fluids and their impact on the cleaning process during the 16-inch phase. The primary objectives are to understand the mechanisms that govern the behaviour of rock cuttings in wellbores & to identify and optimize parameters that facilitate the effective removal of cuttings from the wellbore & to prevent problems arising from inadequate wellbore cleaning.en_US
