Abstract

This study aims to explore the profound impact of translation processes on disseminating misleading news in modern media outlets. The research objectives revolve around understanding the linguistic and cultural shifts that occur in the original content of news during translation processes, and how these changes affect audience understanding and perspectives. Analyzing this impact is crucial in an era witnessing rapid changes in media and increased cultural intermingling. Understanding how news can be distorted through translation contributes to enhancing awareness of the importance of linguistic and cultural contextualization in interpreting information. This study faces several challenges related to varying interpretations and cultural biases reflected in translation processes. Different cultures carry diverse interpretations of concepts and terms, making their accurate translation more difficult. Additionally, time pressure imposes additional challenges on the translation process, potentially leading to neglecting crucial aspects of the original news content. Despite these challenges, understanding the impact of translation on news dissemination remains essential for improving the quality of circulated information and maintaining the objectivity and credibility of the media. The study aims to shed light on this importance and analyze the obstacles hindering its achievement, with the goal of providing recommendations to enhance the quality of translation processes and reduce the spread of misleading news in multilingual society. This work relied on the deductive method to analyze the translation and explore bias in the translated text.

تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف الأثر العميق لعمليات الترجمة على نشر الأخبار المضللة في وسائل الإعلام الحديثة. تتمحور أهداف البحث حول فهم التحولات اللغوية والثقافية التي تطرأ على المضمون الأصلي للأخبار خلال عمليات الترجمة، وكيفية تلك التغيرات تؤثر على فهم الجمهور ومواقفه. يأتي تحليل هذا الأثر بأهمية بالغة في زمن تشهد فيه وسائل الإعلام تغيرات سريعة وزيادة في التداخل الثقافي. فهم كيفية تشويه الأخبار عبر الترجمة يساهم في تعزيز الوعي بأهمية الاستدلال اللغوي والثقافي في تفسير المعلومات. تواجه هذه الدراسة تحديات عدة تتعلق بتفاوت التفسيرات والتحيزات الثقافية التي تنعكس على عمليات الترجمة. فالثقافات المختلفة تحمل تفسيرات متباينة للمفاهيم والمصطلحات، مما يزيد من صعوبة ترجمتها بدقة ووضوح. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يفرض الضغط الزمني تحديات إضافية على عملية الترجمة، حيث قد يتسبب في إهمال جوانب مهمة من المعنى الأصلي للأخبار. بالرغم من هذه التحديات، يظل فهم أثر الترجمة على نشر الأخبار ضروريًا لتعزيز جودة المعلومات المتداولة والحفاظ على موضوعية ومصداقية الإعلام. تسعى الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على هذه الأهمية وتحليل العوائق التي تعترض سبيل تحقيقها، بهدف تقديم توصيات واقتراحات تعزز من جودة عمليات الترجمة وتقليل انتشار الأخبار المضللة في المجتمعات الناطقة بلغات متعددة. حيث اعتمد هذا العمل على المنهج الاستنباطي لتحليل الترجمة واستكشاف التحيز في النص المترجم.

RÉSUMÉ

Cette étude vise à explorer l'impact profond des processus de traduction sur la diffusion de nouvelles trompeuses dans les médias modernes. Les objectifs de recherche s'articulent autour de la compréhension des changements linguistiques et culturels qui se produisent dans le contenu original des nouvelles lors des processus de traduction, et comment ces changements affectent la compréhension et les perspectives du public. L'analyse de cet impact est cruciale à une époque qui connaît des changements rapides dans les médias et un brassage culturel accru. Comprendre comment les nouvelles peuvent être déformées par la traduction contribue à sensibiliser à l'importance de la contextualisation linguistique et culturelle dans l'interprétation de l'information.

Cette étude fait face à plusieurs défis liés aux interprétations variées et aux biais culturels reflétés dans les processus de traduction. Différentes cultures portent des interprétations diverses des concepts et des termes, rendant leur traduction précise plus difficile. L'étude vise à mettre en lumière cette importance et à analyser les obstacles qui entravent sa réalisation, dans le but de fournir des recommandations pour améliorer la qualité des processus de traduction et réduire la propagation de nouvelles trompeuses dans une société multilingue. Ce travail s'est appuyé sur la méthode déductive pour analyser la traduction et explorer les biais dans le texte traduit.
