| Abstract: | Significant progress has been made in the field of power electronics and control circuits, contributing to the increased use of asynchronous machines in electric drive systems. The main reasons for resorting to asynchronous machines are their durability, high power-to-weight efficiency, and low manufacturing cost. A high- performance control system generally requires good regulation and tracking response and must be insensitive to changes in operating conditions and process parameters. In this work, we apply the principles of rotor flux-oriented vector control to achieve decoupling of flux and torque. In particular, we focus on indirect vector control, which uses coordinate transformations to enhance machine control. The inverter, considered essential in this configuration, allows for input voltage adjustment, ensuring a quick response to setting changes. Simulation results confirm the validity and effectiveness of indirect vector control, showing significant improvements in accuracy and robustness compared to traditional methods |
