| dc.description.abstract | Lost circulation, a common and costly complication in oil drilling, occurs when drilling fluid escapes from the well into permeable or fractured formations. In the context of the Haoued Berkaoui field, and more specifically in the BKHE-13 well case study, the application of the packer cap represents a potential technical solution to mitigate this problem. The packer cap, a mechanical sealing device, can be strategically positioned in the well to isolate loss zones and restore fluid circulation, thus allowing drilling operations to continue more efficiently and economically. Analysis of its application to the BKHE-13 well could reveal its effectiveness in specific geological conditions encountered at Haoued Berkaoui. | en_US |
