Abstract

This thesis addresses the Residue Theorem within the framework of complex analysis, and explores the various methods of employing it in the evaluation of certain improper integrals as well as in computing the sums of specific infinite series. The study is structured around providing a rigorous theoretical foundation, followed by clear and concrete applications of the theorem

Ce mémoire traite du théorème des résidus dans le cadre de l’analyse complexe, en mettant en évidence ses différentes méthodes d’application pour le calcul de certaines intégrales impropres ainsi que pour la sommation de séries infinies particulières.
