| dc.description.abstract | This thesis focuses on the modeling and simulation of a standalone photovoltaic (PV) system operating under desert climate conditions in southern Algeria. A mathematical model was developed for key components including the solar panel, an MPPT controller using the Perturb and Observe algorithm, and a single-phase inverter, with both DC and AC loads connected. A real experimental setup was conducted to collect environmental and electrical data, which were then simulated using MATLAB/Simulink. The comparison between simulated and real results showed good agreement, with minor differences due to real-world conditions. The study confirms the validity of the model and highlights the need for further refinement to improve its accuracy in future applications, particularly for remote PV systems. | en_US |
