Abstract: The research deals with the analysis، according to the mechanisms of argumentative study، of the book “Al-Mutanabbi’s Plagiarisms and the Problem of Its Meanings” by Ibn Bassam Al-Nahwi. One of the reasons for choosing the topic is to clarify the style of Ibn Bassam Al-Nahwi in practicing defense or criticism of Al-Mutanabbi’s poetry and the arguments he supported for this purpose، which clearly matched the mechanisms of Brahmanian argumentation. He tries to reveal the arguments that Ibn Bassam Al-Nahwi employed to support his proposals. The researcher found that Ibn Bassam used specific mechanisms of argumentation، as he found only three arguments: (the argument of authority، the argument of witness، and the argument of example). These arguments fall within the realistic arguments (i.e. arguments that establish the structure of reality and arguments established on the structure of reality). The argument of authority falls within the arguments established on the structure of reality، while the argument of witness and the argument of example fall within the arguments established on the structure of reality. The research is divided into two sections and an introduction. The introduction dealt with literary plagiarism and its extension. The first section dealt with
