Abstract: This study investigated the relationships between invertebrates and weed plants in an experimental corn plot in the El Harrach suburb during July-September 2022. Three sampling techniques were employed: Barber pitfall traps, sweep nets, and Japanese umbrellas (beating tray) combined with handpicking. A comprehensive inventory of invertebrate fauna on weeds was compiled. Among the 65 identified species belonging to 47 families, 14 orders, and 6 classes, Insecta was the dominant class. Using the Japanese umbrella technique, 8 invertebrate species were trapped on four host plant species: Xanthium strumarium, Malva multiflora, Amaranthus sp., and Chenopodium album
