Abstract: This study focuses on endoparasites species infecting the Rock pigeon (Columba livia) captured in various sites in the Blida region and its adjacent areas during the winter and spring seasons. The analysis of the samples was conducted using different parasitological techniques, leading to the identification of nine species. Among them, Eimeria sp. was the most prevalent (42%), followed by Ascaridia sp (22.22%) and Tetrameres sp (20%). The other species were less represented. Additionally, two unusual parasites were detected: Strongylus sp and Angiostrongylus sp. Furthermore, this study highlights the role of pigeons as potential vectors of pathogenic parasites, particularly due to their droppings contaminating the environment. The proximity of these birds to human dwellings could therefore pose a significant risk to public health
